I
grew up in Wallensen, a small town in the center of Germany. I spent
most of my childhood riding a horse and giving live to my drawings
on any
surface that crossed my path – it drove my parents crazy.
After high school I did an internship in a full service agency,
which helped
me decide I wanted to study Graphic Design. In the summer '01 I
got accepted
at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nürnberg where I studied for
one year. I then
went into Communication Design at University of Applied Sciences
Darmstadt.
After working for six months at BBDO in Mexico City I realized that
the world of
advertising is definitely not for me, and decided that Mexico City
would be my
new home. One week after receiving my diploma in '06 I left Germany
and
moved to Mexico and have been living here since.
I am certainly a dreamer. Illustration is my ideal way of expressing
the
boundless fantasies that accumulate everyday in my mind. I love
to explore and
play with the diversity of the black line, which is why I am very
fond of my
extensive black pen/fineliner collection.
Enjoy my work and let me know what you think!
